Send to Band: Share a Setlist and Its Sheet Music in One Link

Updated · By the Folio Stand team at KKV Labs

Send to Band lets a band leader, worship leader or choir director send a whole setlist, with all of its PDFs, as one link. Each player taps the link and the setlist opens in their copy of Folio Stand, in order, ready to play. Receiving is free, and nobody needs an account.

Folio Stand is in development, with launch planned for early 2027. Send to Band is part of version 1.

The problem with sending music to a group today

  • You email a pile of PDFs, and half the group cannot find them on Sunday.
  • Someone plays from last week's version.
  • Players rebuild the setlist by hand, in the wrong order.
  • Church music services that solve this cost $5 to $10 a month per church, on top of other plans.

How Send to Band works

  1. Build the setlist in Folio Stand: drag pieces into order, add placeholders like "Announcements" or "Offertory".
  2. Tap Send to Band. Choose whether to include your marks (for example the bowings or cuts everyone needs) or send clean copies.
  3. Share the link by text, email, WhatsApp or AirDrop.
  4. Players tap the link. The setlist and its PDFs open in the free Folio Stand app. Their own marks stay theirs.

Who it is for

You lead... How you would use it
A worship team Send Sunday's set on Thursday. Add a placeholder for the sermon. See church musicians
A choir Send the concert order with rehearsal marks, so every singer has the same cuts. See choirs
A school band or orchestra Send parts for the concert, with your marks on or off. See band and orchestra
A gigging band Send tonight's set list and charts to a sub in one message

What does Send to Band cost?

  • Receiving a setlist: free, in the free plan.
  • Sending setlists: part of Pro, up to 10 people per setlist. Pro is planned at $49.99 a year or $7.99 a month, with a 14-day free trial. See pricing.
  • Larger groups: a plan for directors who send music to whole ensembles is planned after launch.

Privacy and copyright

The music is shared through Apple iCloud from your own account, not through our servers. You can stop sharing at any time. Only send music you have the right to share with your group, such as music your church or school has licensed for its members, public-domain scores, or your own arrangements.
