Why musicians will switch
We fixed the things that ruin rehearsals.
Every feature below answers a problem musicians report again and again in app reviews and forums.
Sync that can't lose your music
Your library follows you across iPad and iPhone through your own iCloud. Built so it cannot create duplicates or overwrite your marks, with 30 days of undo and a status dot on every score.
Marks never disappear
Every change to your annotations is saved as a version. Erased the wrong layer? Restore yesterday's marks in two taps. Deleted items wait 30 days in the trash.
Never a blank page on stage
Folio Stand pre-loads the next pages and the next piece in your setlist. Stage Mode keeps the screen awake, ignores stray touches and pauses sync until you're done.
Bring your forScore library in one tap
Scores, titles, tags, setlists and bookmarks come across, and your pencil marks look exactly as you drew them. A clear report shows what transferred.
Send a setlist to your whole band
Share a setlist and its music in one link. Bandmates, choir members and worship teams open it in the free app. No accounts.
Simple, calm and yours
Three steps to start. Pro tools stay out of the way. No surprise redesigns. Pedals just work. Free export of everything, any time.
Sync, done properly
Your library on every device. Nothing lost, ever.
Most sync problems come from the same few causes: the same file counted twice, one device overwriting another, and no way back. Folio Stand is designed around them.
- No duplicates. Each score is identified by the file itself, so the same piece can never appear twice.
- No overwrites. If two devices change the same marks, you keep both, side by side.
- 30-day undo. Roll back any change sync made, score by score.
- Stage Lock. While you perform, incoming changes wait. Your music cannot move under you.
- Your iCloud, your data. No accounts, no servers of ours holding your library.

Questions
When will Folio Stand be available?
Folio Stand is in development for iPad and iPhone. We are planning an App Store launch in early 2027. Leave your email and we will send one message when it is live.
Will it be free?
Yes, there will be a free version that reads your music, imports a library, keeps backups and receives setlists from your band. Pro is planned at $3.99 a month, $29.99 a year or $59.99 one time.
Can I bring my forScore library?
Yes. Folio Stand imports a forScore Backup or Archive: scores, titles, tags, setlists and bookmarks. Your pencil marks come across exactly as you drew them, on their own layer. forScore stores marks as images, so they cannot become editable strokes.
How is your sync different?
Scores are identified by the file itself, so the same piece can never appear twice. Conflicting marks are kept side by side instead of one overwriting the other. Every change can be undone for 30 days, and Stage Lock pauses incoming changes while you perform.
Do I need an account?
No. Your music stays on your devices and in your own iCloud. We run no servers that hold your library, and the app has no ads or tracking.
Which pedals will work?
Any Bluetooth page turner that acts as a keyboard, including AirTurn, PageFlip, Donner and iRig. You can teach Folio Stand any key, and it filters out accidental double turns.
